Denim: A key franchise category
In 2011, our Old Navy creative team set out to reinvent the entire denim system. From in-store navigation to on-garment labels and packaging, we were challenged to produce a clean, cohesive look and feel across 4 divisions under the “Old Navy Famous Jeans” mark. Through design and copy we strove to convey what we found to be relatable, “universal” themes that each division could connect to – beer for men, cosmetics for women, comic books for boys and texting/chat language for girls.
